What I offer

I offer online, small group tutoring sessions for students sitting National 5 Maths. Sessions last 75 minutes, taking place over evenings and weekends during term time, on a weekly basis. 

With two course options available, I aim to cater for students in S3 and S4, depending on requirements.

One year course

Aimed at students in S4, I will cover most of the fundamentals needed to pass the National 5 exam. 

There will also be an option to join revision sessions during study leave for the  prelim and final exam. 

Two year course

Aimed at students in S3, I will cover the National 5 syllabus over two years. I implement past paper questions into my sessions, as I believe that answering these is a valuable skill.

S3 pupils are welcome to join the one year course.

How it works

A session will typically begin with a lesson starter based on what was learned the previous week, or a past paper question students have been asked to complete from the previous session. Following this we will go over topic specific methods of completing questions. This will be in the form of notes and examples. 

A lesson will usually end with a past paper question, so that 

students are familiar with this type of question before the exam. 

Questions

Students are welcome to ask questions relating to the work being covered during the session. 

If students have further questions, either relating to a session  or work being covered in school, they are welcome to email me.

Notes

Students will not be expected to use up class time taking notes, but are welcome to screenshot any that are shared during the lesson.
